Today we celebrated the life of our beloved brother in Christ , Dr Ashraf Botros .He has touched the hearts of countless people by his kindness, generosity , patience ,humility and above all by his silent prayers .His legacy is continued through his beloved wife Sherine and his sons George and Joseph .Ashraf's life can be simplified in two sentences
He has a heart of a child
He has a spirit of a saint.
His role model in life was ''Father Bishoy Kamel'' who described cancer as ''the illness of Heavens'' which was fulfilled in Ashraf for the last 4 years . He accepted the diagnosis silently and and has not told many people . He continued to work , serve , help with a peaceful smile . No one heard him complaining or talking about his illness.
In March 2026 before Fr's Bishoy anniversary , he was told by the treating doctor that his illness is now terminal and might die within 24 hours . He was advised to go home or start a new medication .He told his beloved wife Sherine ''I want father Bishoy Kamel to take my hands to heaven on his anniversary , usually 21/03 . However God had other plans and Ashraf responded to the new palliative medication till his departure in the early hours of Sunday 30/08 . Few hours prior to his departure he was seen and heard saying ''Sherine I need to go home , i want my dress '', when she asked him why , he said Baba Jesus coming to take me ''

Well done my good and faithful servant , you worked hard for few , now make a ruler on many things , come to your Lord's Joy ''
Thank you Lord for having Ashraf with us and continue to be with us praying for us before the throne .
